Job description: Design / Art Fair Gallery Assistant

A top Design Gallery from Spain is looking for a Fair assistant for an upcoming fair in PARIS from 27th of March to 3rd of April 2016 inclusive

The candidate should be available from 10am to 9pm on these dates.

Language skills required:

C2 Proficient / Native Speaker level of French (Please do not apply if you do not have a  fluent level of French)

Bilingual Spanish or English

Skills / Experience required:

The candidate should have studied or be working currently in the ART/ DESIGN industry with experience in international fairs.

Experience with LUXURY products is highly valued.

The candidate should have some sales experience and have an extroverted, outgoing personality.

Professionalism and Punctuality is very important for this position and the candidate will be required to provide their own transportation and accommodation to and from the fair.

The candidate will have many responsibilities. Some of these include:

Cleaning the fair space before the exhibition hours.
Greeting and providing information to clients / visitors.
Email / Telephone correspondence.
Daily errands at the fair.
Coordinating with gallery directors and note taking.
Give support to the gallery directors at all times.
