Responsibilities:
As an internal medicine specialist, you will participate in a 7-part tertiary on-call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient coverage. Your primary responsibilities will include the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the field of internal medicine. You’ll also play a key role in supporting resident doctors by providing guidance and actively participating in their training. In addition, you will contribute to the growth and development of the internal medicine specialty, engaging in teaching and research activities within the department to help drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
European authorisation as a medical professional.
European certification in internal medicine or a subspecialty.
Strong communication skills in English and motivation to learn Norwegian (free language course provided).
Clean criminal record, documented with a police certificate in accordance with the Health Personnel Act.
